Description (Service) COVID19 - curbside pickup - process: hold notifications for materials located at Main branch only will be sent via email or text when requested materials are ready to be picked up , customers must drive to Main Branch location and park in one of three designated curbside pickup parking spots, once parked, call 905-683-4000, ext. 8840 (Press 0) to notify the staff of arrival, library staff will bring hold materials to your vehicle and place in the trunk * customers may use drop boxes for returns at the Main Branch, which will be open during curbside pickup hours * online and digital resources * customer service available by phone * Seniors’ Centre Without Walls program provides phone-in activities Mon-Fri * seniors can dial up the program line at 1-866-279-1594, enter the code 401402, followed by the pound sign * no need to register in advance, take part in as many days as you’d like * programming runs Mon, Thur and Fri at 10 a.m., Tues and Wed at 1:30 p.m. * Armchair Travel Mondays, Trivia Tuesdays, Guest Speaker Wednesdays, Talk Thursdays, Fit & Healthy Fridays  
Temporary Cooling Centre in Rotary Room while heat warnings for the Region remain in effect, enter through Harwood Ave doors only 
Main branch of Ajax Public Library * regular lending services for books, books on CD, large print books, Daisy books, magazines, materials in other languages, language learning books and CDs, compact discs, DVDs, blu-Ray, video games * downloadable ebooks, audiobooks, movies and music * holds on materials, interlibrary loan, public internet access, public computers with Microsoft Office Suite, library tours, programs for children, teens, adults and seniors * study space, in-house photocopier and printing, meeting facilities * online databases available from library website * free wireless internet access
