DescriptionPrepares pre-sentence reports for criminal courts and pre-parole investigations for the Ontario Board of Parole * supervises and counsels adults and Phase 2 young persons (16-17 yrs) on probation, pursuant to the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA) * assists with parole preparation * supervises provincial parolees * investigates applications for community release * post release assistance * delivers ongoing monitoring and counselling of correctional clients * recruits, screens and trains volunteer probation officers
