DescriptionCOPE Mental Health Program supports adults with emotional and/or mental health needs  
 
Individual Support 
Trained volunteers provide clients with emotional support and help in acquiring life and coping skills * clients determine the goals they want to achieve to help them live successfully in the community  
 
Group Support 
For caregivers and people experiencing depression and anxiety * groups are co-facilitated by staff and volunteers * support groups are psycho-educational, open and ongoing 
 
Specialized Geriatric Support 
Outreach and supportice services for high risk older adults 65+ years living in the community with needs related to mental health and/or aging 
 
Information and Referral to mental health services  
 
Special DescriptionAnnual Community Care Durham Walk for Mental Health in May www.ccdwalk.org * events that educate the public and support those living with mental and emotional concerns
