DescriptionDurham Region owns and directly operates seven child care centres * three nursery school programs in North Durham * operates Durham Behaviour Management Services * The Children's Services Division manages the purchase of service contracts with 191 child care and recreation service programs * manages the child care fee subsidy system and funding for children with special needs * delivers wage subsidy programs and takes a lead role in Durham's Best Start Network
