Description & Services
Description (Service) Environmentally sensitive area of 272 hectares including Lynde Creek Marsh and Cranberry Marsh * habitat for nesting birds, stopping points for migrating waterfowl and shore birds * small picnic area available * from July 15-Sept 15 canoeing is permitted in Lynde Creek Marsh * bring sunflower seeds as chickadees will eat from your hand along the Chickadee Trail (please NO BREAD as it is bad for their health) * vault toilets located near the parking lot 
 
Lynde Shores Conservation Area is an environmentally sensitive area * DOGS ARE ONLY ALLOWED ON THE WATERFRONT TRAIL and must be on a leash of no more than 2 metres in length * no boats or fishing in Cranberry Marsh * discourage vandalism * report incidents immediately to CLOCA * no hunting * walk on designated trails only 
 
Parking is prohibited along Victoria Street 
 
Trails are not maintained in the winter
