Description (Service) Child protection services to children under the age of 18 and their families who live in Durham Region * investigate allegations of child abuse and neglect * protect children and youth when at risk of harm * support for families * support for parents-to-be who may need assistance * support for children and youth in care * place children for adoption * public education and training on identifying and reporting child abuse
