Description (Service) Programs to help youth find employment or transition back to school 
 
The ROC Program ROC=Reaching Objectives Collaboratively 
Participants receive a training stipend while attending a 12-week life-skills training program that mirrors full-time employment (30hrs/week) * following this, participants begin an eight-week job placement that is tailored to their interests and abilities 
 
Project WINGS 
For new graduates to find work in field of study * assistance to build a personal plan to success 
 
The EAST Project 
Program serves both youth and adults with a disability by providing the opportunity to enter short-term skills training that is specific to needs for up to 3 months * employers of our participants are offered up to 12 weeks of subsidy to facilitate a smooth transition into the workplace 
 
GED Preparation and Practice Assessment 
Equips individuals with academic foundation necessary to pass GED test * once practice test is written, official GED test with Independent Learning Centre (ILC) must be completed

Eligibility Ages: 15 year(s) and up 
 
The ROC Project: 15-30 years of age at time of intake, must have employment barrier, be eligible to work in Canada, must not be attending school, not in receipt of, nor eligible for, Employment Insurance (EI) Benefits, underemployed due to lack of education or work experience 
Project WING: 15-30 years of age, graduate of college or university, legally entitled to work in Canada, Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person who has been granted refugee status in Canada 
The EAST Project: 15 years of age or older at time of intake, must self-identify as having a permanent physical or mental disability, legally entitled to work in Canada, be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person who has been granted 
refugee status in Canada, not eligible for assistance under Employment Insurance (EI) benefits 
GED Preparation and Practice Assessment: 18 years of age or older, resident of Ontario, not a recipient of an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD ), out of school for at least one full academic year
