Description (Service) COVID19-- staff working remotely * in-person therapy appointments for specific clients with prioritized needs * majority of appointments held through telepractice until September * summer camp cancelled,will instead provide respite care for children ages 4-12, each time slot will be for children of the same household, registration and eligibility information to come June 15 * check website and social media for updates

Assessment and treatment support to children and youth with communication, physical and developmental needs * outpatient treatment program includes developmental paediatrician, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, audiology, social work, therapeutic recreation and specialized services and supports including specialized clinics Lead and host agency for the Durham Preschool Speech and Language Program (DPSLP) * services for preschool aged children with communication problems and their families Infant Hearing Program under the auspices of Markham Stouffville Hospital * identifies and offers interventions for newborn children with hearing loss Applied Behaviour Analysis based services * help children with autism spectrum disorders develop skills in behaviour management, communication, daily living skills * in partnership with Lakeridge Community Support Services and Resources for Exceptional Children and Youth * UOIT partner in program evaluation Preschool Outreach Program (POP) * consultation services for children, from infancy to school age, in licensed child care settings in Durham Region, who have physical, developmental and/or communication delays * support, education, assessment, equipment loans and consultation services are provided by physiotherapists, speech-language pathologists, audiologist, and occupational therapists, and are co-ordinated by program managers * therapeutic recreation programs and summer camps
