DutiesProvide free, specialized in-home relief childcare for children 0-16, as support for mothers who have been diagnosed with cancer, for those requiring palliative care and for families requiring additional relief during the bereavement period  
Nanny Angels offer fun, educational, creative, and safe supportive and engaging experiences for the children in their care * Nanny Angels role is to engage and support the child(ren) with four hours of childcare service per week to the same family 
Volunteers are matched with families based on compatibility and location within Durham Region

Additional RequirementsRed Cross Emergency First Aid & CPR/AED Level C or Basic Life Support (BLS) * Vulnerable Sector police check * status - legal resident of Canada * physically and mentally fit to provide unsupervised care for children * Grade 12 or equivalent * mandatory attendance at Nanny Angel Network training * verifiable references
