Duties | Lead or support a 90 minute, once a month, drop-in session for people with dementia and their care partners * plan the structured component of the session * use curriculum booklet as a guide, prepare a 30–40 minute activity while keeping in mind client expectations and needs * 30 minutes prior to session, set up and organize venue * actively engage all participants with an inclusive environment, and employ strategies for those who may have a difficult time connecting and conversing * transport required materials for the program, some items may be stored at the site * with the support of program volunteers, ensure the venue is clean and tidy at the end of each session * responsible for taking attendance, provide name tags, write a monthly summary, share report with ASDR | |||
