Duties | At this time, all volunteer programs within our five hospitals have been put on hold; however, we are still recruiting for the time when it is appropriate for us to resume. Once the programs are up and running again, we will be updating what our current needs are. McLaughlin Durham Region Cancer Centre (DRCC) at Lakeridge Health Oshawa * Hospitality/Information Desk, Lab Volunteer, Waiting Room, Systemic Therapy Suite (18 yrs+) * Patient Education Welcome patients/visitors, assist patients with the registration process and completion of ESAS at the computer kiosks as required * assist ADU clinic by calling/accompanying patients to ADU area * provide assistance to Canadian Cancer Society Volunteer Drivers and assist with way-finding and gather abandoned wheelchairs | |||
