Duties | Facilitate small group discussions with adults with Aphasia and acquired communication disabilities who have difficulty speaking, reading, listening or writing as a result of stroke, brain injury or brain illness Learn and apply supportive communication techniques * with guidance and support from Speech-Language Pathologists and Communicative Disorders Assistants, volunteers provide clients with opportunities to engage in conversation of mutual interest and themed activites that may increase participation and enjoyment |
