Oshawa Little Theatre

Oshawa Little Theatre (OLT), a non-profit community theatre produces four major productions a year, both high-quality musicals and plays, as well as operating a Youth Group and Youth production, and summer youth theatre and orchestra camps. 

OLT welcomes volunteers for:

Front of House Operations (for performance dates)

  • greeters
  • ticket scanners
  • bartenders (must have valid Smart Serve certificate)
  • 50/50 ticket sellers
  • concession sales

Backstage

  • construction
  • painting
  • set decoration
  • costumes
  • props
  • set strike (takedown)

Technical

  • sound
  • lighting
  • projection
  • special effects

OLT also supports secondary school students needing their mandatory Community Service Hours for graduation through the above volunteer roles. Acting roles are usually filled through auditions.
