Be a part of a team of museum village gardeners * assist in the research, planning, planting, and maintenance of the heritage gardens

Committee members take ownership of fundraising and contribute significantly to TCEP corporate sponsorship, personal giving, fundraising events and other campaigns. They leverage personal or professional networks, practice event planning skills, and help get people excited about healthy wholesome food! The committee convenes once every 4 to 6 weeks, and members are expected to attend at least 75% of those meetings.

Once a month, they create a confidential and welcoming virtual space, where people living with Parkinson’s and/or their care partners can share their experiences and develop supportive relationships in a group setting * 3 – 5 hours per month * One support group meeting per month (1-1.5 hours per month), plus 3-5 hours monthly for administrative and organizational tasks * Stability is essential for Support Groups so a commitment of at least one year is appreciated *
Manage the finances for the Carion Fenn Foundation * Perform internal audit as needed for the finances of the foundation * Record expenses, payments and other expenditures * Create and consolidate financial statements at the year-end (March 31st) * Manage the budget for the Carion Fenn Foundation * Keep track of charitable donations * Be prepared to explain the finances of the foundation as required *

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Clarington (BBBSC), is actively seeking applications for volunteers to join our Task Forces, which are sub-committee groups of the Board of Directors as related to specific tasks and duties. Dedicated and enthusiastic individuals are encouraged to apply.
Task force categories include: Board and Resource Development (HR), Finance and Fund Development, Strategic Planning, and Governance & Ethics + Risk Assessment.
