Duties

Assist at fundraising event * volunteers needed for registration, wayfinding, food/beverage service, setting up and/or tearing down and running activities

Roles and Descriptions:                                                                                                 

Check-in/Activity Support - help set-up check-in area, sign-in participants, hand out t-shirts & breakfast tickets.  After check-in completed, help with activities and clean-up.

Wayfinding - Direct participants from parking areas.  Be stationed along the walk routes.

Greeter/Activity Support - Greet participants, direct them to additional parking and check-in. Once the event starts, help with activities.

Online Auction - Support the digital auction.  Help participants place bids using tablets. Set-up and pack up auction items. 

Food & Beverage:  Set-up and maintain the Tim Hortons table and assist with handing out the pancake breakfast.  Replenish supplies and help with clean-up.

Set-up & Take-down:  Assist with general set-up and tear-down of the event, including signage and activity stations. 

Float:  Be available to jump into whatever area of support is needed at the event. 

Activity Support:  Encourage attendees to take part in activities, explain the rules and hand out prizes.

Additional Requirements Volunteers complete an application form and sign a waiver. Those under 18 years old will need a parent/guardian to sign a consent form. 
 
Should be comfortable sitting or standing for periods of time * outdoor activities, rain or shine
