Duties

Food Bank Volunteer Opportunity

We are currently looking for volunteers to support our Food Bank operations. Volunteers play a vital role in helping ensure families in our community have access to essential food supports.

Tasks and duties may include:

  • Lifting and moving boxes and bags of food (some heavy lifting required)

  • Sorting incoming food donations

  • Checking food for expiry dates and quality

  • Bagging fresh produce

  • Packing food hampers for clients

  • Providing friendly, respectful service to clients during distribution

This is a hands-on role best suited for individuals who are comfortable being on their feet and working as part of a team. Your time and support make a meaningful difference for families in our community.
