Duties

Be trained to provide ground search and rescue services for emergency situations * assist where needed at evacuation centre or emergency operations centre throughout Northumberland County * provide community support to Port Hope Police Service and Cobourg Police Service

Training Orientation ; Training is provided - Basic ground search and rescue provided ; Training is required ; Training on the job ; Training on-going - Monthly training provided by OCEAP ; Some in person training limited during COVID-19 restrictions
Transportation Driver License required ; Car required - attend event or deployment
Cost Volunteers responsible for Uniform cost - approx $400
Police Check Required
Additional Requirements First Aid * CPR level C * class "G" drivers license * on-call travel in Ontario * cell phone * preference given to volunteers who are able to respond during the day
