Duties | Rouge National Urban Park is looking for avid volunteers who wish to connect with people by guiding them through the park’s nature trails and teaching them about the wonders of the Rouge. As a Guided Walk Leader, you will often be the first point of contact for new visitors and must provide them a safe and enjoyable walking experience. There is a diversity of trails and people who use these trails. As such, volunteer Guided Walk Leaders should be open and willing to engage with people of different walks of life, abilities and ages. Dates and Times | Saturday: Morning, Afternoon Sunday: Morning, Afternoon Guided walks run on the weekends and occasionally on a weekday. |

Accessibility | Free parking is available at all trailheads where guided walks start. Only paved trails are wheelchair accessible. |

Training | Orientation ; Training is required ; Orientation and training will be provided to those who become official Guided Walk Leaders with Parks Canada at Rouge National Urban Park. |
Transportation | Driver License required ; Car required ; A car is required to be a guided walk leader because most of the trails are not near public transit. |
