Duties

The 2026 Durham Region MS Walk is taking place Sunday, May 31st at 11:00 AM at Kiwanis Heydenshore Park in Whitby. We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help us bring this event to life!

MS Walk is a one-day event held at over 50 locations across Canada, bringing together people impacted by multiple sclerosis.

On May 31st, gather your friends, family, and coworkers for a day of meaningful action. There are various areas where volunteer help is needed to ensure that this event runs smoothly and participants have a great experience.

Volunteer opportunities include:

  • Event Set-Up & Wrap-Up
  • Participant/Volunteer Check-In
  • Checkpoint Attendants
  • Food & Beverage Area
  • Route Marshals
  • Start/Finish Line Cheer Squad

  • Do you have a positive attitude and enjoy bringing positive energy to events?
  • Are you passionate about supporting the MS community?
  • Are you a self-motivated and reliable person?
  • Are you willing to fulfill volunteering duties on time?
  • Are you keen to attend the event in person on Sunday, May 31 for anywhere between 2 hours-8 hours?
