Duties

● Communicating with Adoption Coordinators and fosters regarding medical needs of assigned dogs/cats 
● Organizing a list of dogs and cats each month to go to Veterinary Clinics for spay/neuter. 
● Organizing a list of dogs and cats that require vaccinations each month 
● Coordinating with the veterinary clinic and foster families or adopters for monthly vaccination appointments and arranging transportation if required. 
● Updating the intake form with dates of vaccinations and spay/neuter for each dog/cat. 
● Consulting with Coordinators on all medical issues that arise with TAGS dogs or cats and making arrangements with the FTA or foster to access dewormer, medication, appointment etc. 
● Follow up to see how dogs/cats are doing.
● Attend monthly veterinary appointments, ensuring all animals are checked, correct vaccinations are received and documentation is given. Currently this is in Ajax. 
● Help transport animals to the Veterinary clinics when necessary. 
● Attend Monthly Coordinator Meetings 

Experience with holistic vet care knowledge would be an asset
